Picasso, the Spanish, had extraordinary artistic talent since childhood. Picassoâs father was an art teacher, and Picasso received rigorious training at the Academy of Fine Arts, which made him have solid capabilities of modelling. During his lifetime, his painting style has gone through several periods: the Blue Period, the Roase Period, the African-influenced Period, Analytic Cubism, and Synthetic Cubism. Regarding the Blue Period, âLa Vieâ was the masterpiece. âGarcon a la Pipeâ was a representative of the Rose Period. âLes Demoiselles dâAvignonâ which was inspired by African artifacts waas created in the African influenced Period. Analytic cubism was formed from 1909 to 1912 and Synthetic cubism was a further development thereof.
