Karl Frederik Aagaard was a Danish painter.

His parents were Ole shoemaker Aagaard and Anna Ursula Winchler.

He studied at the beginning of Odense maalermeistriks. That he wanted to become an artist, he went to Copenhagen, where his brother, Johan Peter Aagaard (1818-1879) worked in wood engraver, and studied with him for engravers.
